Village of Stoddard Guidelines & Recycling Information
Please have your recyclables on the curb by 7:00 A.M. on your pick-up day.
 

• If your regular pickup day falls on or after a holiday, your pickup will be delayed by one (1) day starting from that
  holiday and running through Friday of that week. Friday will NOT be delayed.
   
• Collection of co-mingled recycling includes: tin, glass, aluminum, plastic, newspapers, magazines, cardboard, and low-grade mixed paper. Also, metal Items and small non-freon containing appliances such as Vacuum Cleaners, Bicycles, Toasters and VCR’s. Co-mingled recyclables are picked up every other week, on Tuesday.
   
• Co-mingled recycling can be put to the curb in one container instead of being sorted. If using plastic bags, only
  clear bags are allowed. Garbage cans, boxes, paper sacks, 5 gallon

GLASS Soda, Beer, Wine & Liquor bottles, Juice and Food containers, Catsup bottles ALL COLORS, RINSE CLEAN, NO LIDS, UNBROKEN, LABELS OK Not Acceptable: Mirrors, Ceramic cups & plates, Clay flower pots, Crystal, Light bulbs, Window glass, Heat resistant ovenware, Drinking glasses, Pane glass. PLASTIC Plastics #1 through #7 RINSE CLEAN Items that can be tied together, like milk jugs, can be placed next to the recycling bin CONTAINERS MUST HAVE A RECYCLING SYMBOL 5 gallon buckets, Laundry baskets, Pet carriers, Empty garbage cans and Plastic toys are acceptable Not Acceptable: Plastic Bags, Film, Wrap,Bubble Wrap, Styrofoam, Wax Paper PAPER Including newsprint, magazines, catalogs & office paper BUNDLE & TIE or PLACE IN PAPER GROCERY BAGS These items may be placed next to recycling bin. Not Acceptable: Wax coated paper (cereal or cake mix box type inserts),Feed bags, Fertilizer Bags CARDBOARD Corrugated and Boxboard (cereal, pop, etc) must be flattened. ALUMINUM Cans, Downspouts, etc. METAL Includes: Tin cans (rinse clean), Vacuum Cleaners, Toasters, VCR’s, Bed Frames, Bicycles, Grills, Space Heaters, Satellite Dishes, Tire Rims, Old Tools, Treadmills, Pots and Pans, etc. Empty aerosol cans
